Ingredients for the recipe

For 2 large omelets

Filling:

  • 2 cans of white tuna (in salted water)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of capers, chopped (as desired)
  • Lemon juice to taste

omelets: 

  • 6 big eggs
  • 60 ml of milk
  • Olive oil for searing
  • ¼ teaspoon fine-grained sea salt
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • ½ cup of grated low-fat cheese

preparation

  • Mix all the ingredients for the tuna filling in a bowl and set aside.
  • For the omelets mix the eggs, milk, salt and pepper well.
  • Heat a coated pan and add a little oil to the pan.
  •  Put half of the omelette mixture in the pan and distribute well.
  • Roast the omelette on both sides until golden brown.
  • Now sprinkle half of the cheese over the omelette and continue to fry until the cheese has melted slightly.
  • Do the same with the other half of the omelet mixture.
  • Put the finished omelets on a plate.
  • Finally, add the tuna filling to the omelets and fold once in half.
