High-protein omelet with fresh herbs
Ingredients for the recipe
For 2 large omelets
Filling:
- 2 cans of white tuna (in salted water)
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped celery
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon of capers, chopped (as desired)
- Lemon juice to taste
omelets:
- 6 big eggs
- 60 ml of milk
- Olive oil for searing
- ¼ teaspoon fine-grained sea salt
- A pinch of ground black pepper
- ½ cup of grated low-fat cheese
preparation
- Mix all the ingredients for the tuna filling in a bowl and set aside.
- For the omelets mix the eggs, milk, salt and pepper well.
- Heat a coated pan and add a little oil to the pan.
- Put half of the omelette mixture in the pan and distribute well.
- Roast the omelette on both sides until golden brown.
- Now sprinkle half of the cheese over the omelette and continue to fry until the cheese has melted slightly.
- Do the same with the other half of the omelet mixture.
- Put the finished omelets on a plate.
- Finally, add the tuna filling to the omelets and fold once in half.
